Insanely overdue update (IOU)

From most recent to the last post, but not necessarily in chronological order because there's too much going on.... Pictures to come later....

On tour of Massage and Spas on Beijing's East side.

August 3 - Personally escorted (with 6 big Chinese body guards around us) World-famous Brazilian soccer / futbol star Ronaldinho and his FCB (Futbol Club Barcelona, aka Barca) teammates Italian Gianluca Zambrotta and Mexican Giovanni Dos Santos Ramirez from/to their Westin hotel in Beijing to/from the grand opening ceremony of Nike flagship China store in Beijing's Wangfujing shopping area. World-record holder/gold medalist 110M hurdler Liu Xiang of China was also at the Nike store.

I've been pulling all-nighters several nights a week for work.

I exceeded the weight limit in elevators 2x in 2 days at the office, but let other people get off so the elevator would move.

I ate almost an entire lunch from McD's (Chicken sandwich, medium fries and Sprite) while waiting for an elevator to get back up to my office.

One of the company's partners through a party where wine was inhaled. Partied and danced until 5am. Woke up next afternoon completely sore, so I went to get my first professional massage ever. Then went out to dinner at Alameda with new friend Peter S and his wife and friends. Afterwards went to new club Block 8 I-Ultra Lounge.

Visited Beijing Aquarium for research.

Stopped by an automotive event at the Great Wall at night for research.

Saw Howard and Evelyn at Houhai's NoName Bar.

Saw the entire Chu family in Shanghai, after already seeing Naomi and Tony in Beijing a few days earlier at Wangfujing.

Spent roughly two weeks in Shanghai, back and forth from Beijing, for various events and meetings. Went with company on a pilgrimage to Putuo Shan, a famous Buddhist shrine on an island in the East China sea.

Visited Tsinghua University for research.

I will add/modify this later with pictures, soon!
